A studio with a view

This is the view from my old studio in San Anselmo, Ca. I have very fond memories painting and looking out towards Mt. Tam ( Tamalpais ) while I worked. There was a group of us that shared an older house that was converted to studio spaces. Bill Wells, an Art Center Industrial Design graduate was on the bottom floor and we had several other artists doing their thing. My home was across the street on the hill to the left. The area in the middle by the redwoods is an area affectionately called the Hub. Thats where Drake and 4th St. and Center St. meet. The building at the bottom to the right of the foreground redwoods is the San Francisco Theological Seminary, although its in Marin. Go figure. Great views from that location.
